Left Over Yarn . . .

I thoroughly enjoy knitting just for the fun of it.  I really don't need to create anything useful although I do have 3 new knit wash clothes.  After I finished knitting the monsters I still had plenty of yarn I wanted to use up.  I Googled a couple sweater ideas and settled on this one.

I chose the smallest size to knit and even chose to use smaller needles.  My goal was to make something that would fit on a teddy bear.

I got to search through the button box.

Old House, New House . . .

Old House...

Mom and Wayne have moved.  Not too far, thankfully.  About an hour and thirty minutes from my house and into Skagit County.  In the last week the kids and I have said goodbye to the old house and hello to the new house.

The boys had a great time exploring the grounds.  They found lots of treasures left over from the kids that were there before.  We had a wonderful meal today with 12 people around the table and elbow room to spare.  It's a good thing, my boys are still growing.  :-)

Strange but Nice . . .

I found this little surprise in the boy's bathroom the other day.  They had been scrubbing rocks with tooth brushes (the old ones I was told).  Then they set them up to dry.   

Very nice boys, now clean it up.
