Two Stars and a Scout...

AJ and CJ made Star Scout and I was pinned with two stars at the Court of Honor.  

I'm wearing those stars with honor.

DJ earned Scout rank before all of the other incoming Scouts and is on track for Tenderfoot. 

I'm so proud of these young men.  I may need a GoFundMe page.

Mother's Day...

 My helper and I kicked off the Mother's Day festivities by making a centerpiece from flowers and greenery outside. 

 CJ made a chocolate chip dump cake in a cast iron dutch oven.

 Josh made chicken and kabobs.

My four great reasons I get to celebrate as a mom on Mother's Day.

Yarning...

Blossom knows where I keep the yarn and the other day she asked me if she could yarn. 

 She has seen me sew a few scout patches and wanted to try.

 I found a blunt needle and let her try. 

 It held her attention for a few minutes.

Then she was done with the yarn.
