Victoria Trip...

It was a stormy travel day on the ferry to Victoria.
Our first stop was Miniature World.
 Tiny soldiers.

 Tiny castles.

 Tiny horses.

 Tiny knights.

Next stop, the Bug Zoo.

 Not my favorite place.

It was a blustery walk around down town Victoria. Blossom was very interested in the storm grates.  She had to stop and look down each one.  It was pretty cute.
Victoria is the capital of Vancouver, but sites like this seemed to draw our attention more than the great capital building.

The next day we went to the Butterfly Gardens.
This place was amazing and a bit like being on a tropical island.
Blossom was a little nervous at first.

It was so warm and humid in there.

 Such cuties!

The Butterfly Garden was the perfect end to our visit on Vancouver Island.

It was a quiet ride back on the ferry.

We even practiced some math.  A little estimating of how many squares where on the rug and the Scientist wanted to count to know the exact amount.  He used his multiplication skills.
It was dark when we reached the mainland. Almost home.
