Last Day of School . . .

Last Friday was technically our last day of school for this school year.  I wanted to make of point of celebrating the day and took some ideas from other homeschoolers.   

The boys received certificates of grade completion and Grandma Patty brought cupcakes, cookies and balloons.  There were plenty of smiles but I had one more event to commemorate the day.

A Silly String fight!  Oh yes, they loved it.  And when their cans were empty they grabbed it from the ground, wadded it up and made balls out of it.  

We still have some math, science and history to finish but for now they'll have a couple weeks of break before we truly finish up all the subjects.
