This week is filled with Cub Scouts. For me specifically, Wolf Cubs - boys ages 6-8 years old. Eight of them to be exact. They are full of smiles, thoughts, opinions, ideas and energy.
We started our day making duct tape picture frames. Then we moved to BB guns.
After that it was onto making egg capsules that would protect the egg from gravity and a drop from the Hovander Tower.
Dinner is a sack lunch brought from home and eaten during a 10 minute break. Then it was on to paper airplanes and film canister rockets.
Our last station was the real life Angry Birds.
My day ended at home with my little guy saying "Mom, thank you for taking me to Cub Camp."
You betcha!

AWESOME! I love the real life Angry Birds. Our local middle school just broke the world record for the egg drop. Google it-there was a cool movie of the egg's launch!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Derek - thank you for giving your time to make these times special for the boys.
