Going On A Little Hike . . .

I love the hike at Stimpson Nature Preserve.  Friday we did the mild/moderate 3 mile loop through beautiful Northwest forests.  Friends, family and cub scouts.  

I love days that combine all three.  Josh took the day off and took the lead with the WEBELOS scouts.  

They stopped periodically so we could all catch up. 

We saw a few critters along the way.  A salamander and lots of slugs.

There's nothing special about a slug except when your 7 year old says "MOM!!! TAKE A PICTURE!"  Then it becomes a slug for the memory book.
