We had a party of kiddos at our house last night. We hosted a dear friend and her 5 children while they were visiting Whatcom County. We've been friends for 8 years, meeting through our local MOMS Club chapter in 2003. Now, she lives 3 hours away.

| E. enjoyed the guitar. |
After dinner, the kids entertained themselves with Pokemon trading, Lego building, and puzzles. We tucked our guests into sleeping bags, cots, and futons with stories and prayers. Then Mrs. D and I stayed up until 2am chatting and catching up on life, kids, friends and everything in between. We remembered the "good old" days of visiting each other for coffee, knitting and letting the kids play, the days before we became full time home schooling moms. Not that we would change anything, our days were just a bit more simpler then.

Morning came early but we had everyone eating Alaskan sourdough pancakes by 8:30am. I love making pancakes for large groups.

| Only missing 3. Josh is at work, my oldest is taking the picture and her youngest is in the van. |
We had a great visit!
